Summer Camp season has begun! The first of the Cub Camps started last week, and Week 1 of Scouts BSA camp at Resica Falls started yesterday (have fun, Troops 122 and 176G). We hope all of the Scouts have a great time this summer. Meanwhile, for the adults, here are your Four Things To Know for the end of June!

  • District's First Female Eagle Scout
  • Cub Scout Family Dens
  • Cub Scout Summer Camp - Still Time to Sign-Up
  • District Calendar for 2022-2023

Plus, Dates to Know and a new Fun Fact.

Constellation District's First Female Eagle Scout

The Constellation District is excited to recognize Sarah Chenoweth as the first female in our district to earn the rank of Eagle Scout. You can learn more about Sarah and her achievement on the District's Facebook page (just search for Constellation District and choose to Follow Us).

Sarah is a member of Troop 176G, one of several girl troops in our district. Do you know a girl who would be interested in scouting? Just set your browser to beascout.org to find a Girl or Family Den Pack or a Girl Troop near you.

Cub Scout Family Dens

Scouting has started a new pilot program to officially create Family Dens, allowing for coed dens for Lion, Tiger, Wolf, Bear, and Webelos. Does you Pack want to offer this opportunity to its Scouts? The Cradle of Liberty Council will be holding a kick-off Webinar for Packs who have signed up on Thursday, June 30 at 6:30 pm. To sign up for this pilot please visit https://colbsa.org/familyden/ and complete the form found there; after you complete it, you will be provided with a link to the Webinar.  Question?  You can ask our Membership Specialist, Rhys Wallace.

Parents are looking now for Fall activities for their kids, so it is important to sign up for the program soon so that we can advertise that your Pack is offering Family Dens.
