Dear Seniors and Families,

Graduation is just 4 weeks away!

The Senior Celebration Booklet goes to print Monday, cap & gown orders have been shipped to the school and we're narrowing down decisions about speakers and music!
By Next Friday, May 6:

  • SENIORS: Email your graduation speech to me if you're interested in being considered as a Student Speaker. Speeches should be about 5-7 minutes long. We will have a faculty committee do a blind read of all submissions, and then will invite all who have submitted to deliver their speeches in front of the committee. The committee will select speakers, looking for strong message, originality, how speeches compliment each other, good delivery, etc.

  • SENIORS/FAMILIES: Complete the Graduation Ticket Survey here; each family is guaranteed 8 reserved tickets in and can request more. Once I have everyone's requests, I will crunch the numbers and let you know if your requests for extra tickets can be accommodated. I will assign seats and hand out tickets at Senior Supper.

  • SENIORS: Let us know what song you'd like us to play for you as you walk across the stage to get your diploma Individual Graduation Song Survey here

Graduation Events

  • Senior Supper: Thursday 5/26, 6pm at AHS--this event is just for seniors and is where I will hand out cap and gowns as well as tickets for graduation

  • Class Photo and Graduation Rehearsal: Friday 5/27, 8:30am at Community Concert Hall--we will head over to the FLC clocktower afterwards to join the rest of the school for Advisory Olympics which will wrap up by 12:30

  • Graduation: Friday 5/27, 4pm at Community Concert Hall--seniors need to be there no later than 3:30!

Cheers,
