Election Day is Tuesday

The Idaho Democratic Party primary election is open to all registered voters. The Idaho Republican Party primary is closed to only party members, though unaffiliated voters may select a party on election day. All ballots also feature nonpartisan elections for judges.

Idaho increases work search requirements under new unemployment law

Idaho Capital Sun: Idahoans seeking unemployment must report five job search activities each week starting this summer.


The new requirements start July 7, according to an Idaho Department of Labor news release. Idaho previously required two work search contacts each week.


Acceptable work search activities for unemployment filing under the law include submitting a resume or job application to employers, or uploading it to a job board; completing an employer interview or skills test; completing a job search workshop or mock interview; and more.

The Water Supply Bank Wants to Rent Your Water

As demand for rental water is increasing in certain parts of the state, the Idaho Water Resource Board is looking for more surplus water rights to lease as part of its voluntary water exchange. Mary Condon, program manager for the Idaho Water Supply Bank, joins associate producer Logan Finney to discuss the need.

However, Idaho mothers are also more likely to say it’s very easy to access stores with fresh produce, as well as public parks and recreation.
