Thank You for Making Four on the 4th a Success!
| |
What an incredible Fourth of July morning in Vinton!
We are so grateful to everyone who helped make the 15th Annual Four on the 4th Race such a successful and meaningful event for Boys & Girls Clubs of Southwest Virginia.
A special thank you goes to our presenting sponsor, Vinton Moose Lodge, and to all of our sponsors, runners, walkers, volunteers, partners, staff, and community members who helped bring this event to life. Your support made the day possible and helped continue a local tradition that brings people together for a great cause.
Four on the 4th is more than a race. It is a celebration of community, movement, and support for the kids and teens who count on our Clubs for safe spaces, caring mentors, and opportunities to grow.
Thank you for helping us build great futures across Southwest Virginia.

On June 25, our Vinton Baptist Church Club enjoyed a fun-filled Field Day with Delta Dental of Virginia.
After months of planning for this day, the Delta Dental staff arrived ready to spend meaningful time with our Club members, participating in activities, cheering them on, and helping create a day filled with smiles, laughter, and excitement.
We also want to thank the leadership team at Delta Dental of Virginia for being part of the experience. It means so much when community leaders take the time to be present, engaged, and connected with local youth.
Delta Dental of Virginia continues to be a wonderful example of community partnership in action. They are always finding ways to support and be involved with local youth, and we are grateful for their continued commitment to our Club members and our mission.

Summer Camp Is Underway
Summer Camp officially kicked off in June, and our Clubs have been full of energy, learning, laughter, and connection.
Across Boys & Girls Clubs of Southwest Virginia, Club members are spending their summer in safe, supportive spaces where they can build friendships, explore new activities, stay active and continue learning while school is out. From games and creative projects to field trips, meals, snacks and time with caring mentors, summer at the Club is all about helping kids feel supported, encouraged and ready for what comes next.
We are so grateful to every donor, partner, volunteer and supporter who helped make the start of Summer Camp possible. Your generosity helps provide the experiences, resources and encouragement our Club members need during one of the most important times of the year.
Thank you for helping us kick off a summer full of great futures.
