Runners and walkers from more than 100 teams gathered at Orlando Melbourne International Airport on April 18 for the FLORIDA TODAY Corporate 5K. Space Coast Classic 15K & 2 Mile
In its 33rd year, the annual Space Coast Classic 15K & 2 Mile on April 14 with both runs beginning and ending at Quest Elementary, supported feeding hungry kids in Brevard. This year’s race marked the first time the classic was run through the streets of south Viera. Click here for photos.
Village Idiot 5K
This was probably one of the most fun 5Ks on April 12, and raised funds to support feeding hungry kids locally. Village Idiot Pub in Cocoa Village was the start and end of the race, with Hot Pink providing awesome entertainment. Click here for photos.
Bob Steel Chevrolet Raises $6,000
Family owned and operated for 36 years, Bob Steele Chevrolet believes in giving back to the community. They raised $6,000 to help feed hungry kids locally.
Went to a Garden Party...
The Neighbors of Suntree celebrated 35 years with a Garden Party, and presented a check for $1500 to The Children's Hunger Project. They encourage friendliness among the residents of the Suntree area while raising money for local charities.
Food packing events and volunteers help ensure meals get to the schools, the teachers, and in the hands of children who might otherwise go hungry on weekends. Thanks to Boeing, Freedom 7 Elementary, Suntree Rotary and Health First and Seminole Club among others, for your help!
