Battle of the States: Virtual Truck Driving Championships
Get ready... Our Wheels of Wisdom Competition takes off soon on July 31st! While the road to ATA’s National Truck Driving Championships may be different this year, we are still recognizing and celebrating our industry heroes – truck drivers.
The Tennessee Trucking Association will be participating in this year’s Battle of the States virtual knowledge competition on July 31, where you’ll have the opportunity to participate in the state competition, compete to be named the National Battle of the States: Virtual Truck Driving Grand Champion, and win great prizes!

“Join us for a fundraiser on July 22nd, 2021 focused on the recruiting and training of our next generation of diesel technicians. The TTA’s Young Professionals Council and TN Trucking Foundation have been invited to partner with the Cummins TEC initiative to raise in-kind donations of tools and supplies, internships, and employment opportunities. The Cummins Technical Education for Communities (TEC) is a global initiative that targets the technical skills gap through local vocational education programs.”

Brownsville Roadside Inspection |
|
We had blast at the Brownsville Roadside Inspection on July 9, 2021. There were 45 in attendance who were able to see how roadside inspections are conducted and technology works at scales locations. A huge thank you to Vertical Alliance Group and P&S Transportation for sponsoring this event and thank you to Ozark Motor Lines, Inc. for providing the grill to cook all the delicious food!

Our Auction Committee this year will be Committee Chair Greg Shipman, Vertical Alliance Group; Julie Harcourt; Randy Hooper; Jerry Luneke, and Perry Wilson. You don't have to wait for a call.
