FAQs Answered by the Pros

Dr. Allan Armitage (professor emeritus, UGA horticulture) will be joining us in the morning at 11:00 for:
"Gardening Isn't Rocket Science"
- Common Sense Gardening
He will be talking about planting perennials in Georgia, what does well, new plants and how to take care of them.  Bring your gardening questions for him to answer, too.

New this year, Cliff Brock will be speaking at 1:00 pm.  He is the Assistant Curator of the Flower Gardens at the State Botanical Garden.  His topic has been incredibly popular recently:
"Perennials & Woody Plants for
Hummingbirds and Pollinators"
Of course, there will be LOTS of perennials and shrubs to choose from that will make excellent additions to your own pollinator gardens.
We will have a lunch break between speakers.  Sloppy joes, black beans and potato salad with Paula's pound cake & peach ice cream for dessert will be available to purchase.
As a little treat, the creator of Kenny B's Pickles (and okra) will be here sampling his line!  Also, someone from Back to Basics 101 from Cochran, Georgia will be sampling Peach Cobbler, Peach Muffins & Peach Crisp.  These products are grown and milled in Georgia!
Come see us for our 4th 'Annual' Perennial Day as we strive to learn more about the plants we love!
