My dear parish family,
On this Fourth Sunday of Advent, we have cause for great joy. We thank God immensely for guiding us safely to another celebration of the birthday of Jesus Christ. This celebration truly offers us hope, for despite the many different ways God could have saved the world, he chose to take on our human nature and become one of us. In the mystery of the Emmanuel (God-with-us), as God becomes a part of our world, he also makes a home for us in His heart. It doesn’t get any better than this. Let’s always find time to count our many blessings.
I’m sure many of you will be traveling to go spend time with your families while others will be welcoming family and friends into town. Our staff too will be taking some time off during the holidays to spend with their families. As such, the parish office will be on limited availability during the Christmas holidays. We shall open from Wednesday, December 27 – Friday, December 29 only until 1:00 p.m. We shall resume normal working hours on Wednesday, January 3, 2024. Please, don’t forget to check the website (www.saintlaw.org) for mass times during the holidays and for more information on the different events happening in the parish. However, in case of sacramental emergencies, never hesitate to call the main line (770.963.8992).
On behalf of the clergy and staff, I wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. May the Lord keep you safe throughout the holiday period, especially those traveling!
God bless you and see you at Mass!
Father Henry
