Winter Supper - April 6th

Thank you to everyone who helps shop, cook, prep or pack for Winter and Summer Suppers or donates to the Poor Box for Catholic Charities Dinners! During Holy Week, on Thursday, April 6th, we will pack a special Easter Supper for our homeless neighbors. Because the first Thursday of the month falls on Holy Thursday, we will need extra helpers to make sure that Shea Hall is completely cleaned and cleared ahead of the 7pm Holy Thursday of the Lord's Passion Mass at St. Julian. The Altar of Repose will be setup in Shea Hall and all attending Mass will be invited to visit the Altar following Mass.

Shop, Cook, Prep, Pack!

Annual Catholic Appeal

Now more than ever, the Church needs your steadfast support. Your participation in our parish’s weekly offertory and in the Annual Catholic Appeal is essential to maintaining the

financial well-being of the Church.

Please consider signing up for online giving to the parish offertory and to the Appeal. Just as we rely on your spiritual support, the Church continues to rely on your financial support to continue its work of sanctification and evangelization.

Donate now!

Remember that donations in excess of our Appeal Goal are returned to OLBS in the form of a rebate. This year, OLBS will direct rebate funds to install screens in the vestibule, add a video security system at QR and put glass lites in the church doors at SJE. Discover more.

Gospel in Focus

March 19, 2023 Jesus heals a blind man, and teaches us that there are more ways of being blind than just being unable to see... “Then Jesus said, I came into this world for judgment, so that those who do not see might see, and those who do see might become blind.” —John 9:39

Discussion Questions

How were the Pharisees blind to Jesus?

How was the blind man able to see, other than just with his eyes?

In what ways are we blind?
