The Fox Cities Chamber Regional Partnership officially launched Fox Cities Economic Development, a new annual magazine produced in partnership with Livability Media, at our Business After Hours at Appleton International Airport on September 14. We thought it fitting to officially launch our new publication there since not only is ATW the cover photo, but they are a great partner of the Chamber and a key driver of economic development in the Fox Cities. Chamber hosting free ChatGPT workshop
The Fox Cities Chamber is hosting an in-person workshop on ChatGPT on November 8 from 8 – 9:30 AM. Werner Electric is our hosting sponsor for the event, which is designed to help those interested in learning how to use ChatGPT to drive content and streamline routine day-to-day tasks. Specific topics include how to obtain ChatGPT, Daily tasks that ChatGPT can help with, How to prompt ChatGPT to obtain desired results, and Limitations and cautionary notes about using ChatGPT. UA 400 Pipe Trades and Mechanical Contractors Association Hosted 2023 Apprentice Signing Day
UA 400 Pipe Trades and MCA held its fourth annual Apprentice Signing Day on September 15, 2023, at the UA 400 Training Center to recognize 102 first-time apprentices as they begin their five-year apprenticeships. This year’s event, modeled after the National Signing Day for college athletes, recognized UA 400 first-year apprentices who have secured employment with twenty-eight UA 400 signatory contractors. Chamber members are invited to attend the ANBA Government Update on city development, airport expansions and overall general information on what is happening in our community. The meeting is on October 3 from 7:30 - 9 a.m. at the Grand Meridian in Appleton.
