Chamber announces free membership level for small businesses

The Fox Cities Chamber reaffirmed its commitment to small businesses and our local economy in an unprecedented way with the rollout of a free membership level called Connect Free.  The announcement was made Monday at the Chamber offices in downtown Appleton. Small businesses who qualify are those in Outagamie, Calumet or northern Winnebago County with five or fewer full-time employees (or equivalent), nonprofits with 10 or fewer employees, and freestanding restaurants in the Fox Cities. New Google partnership announced; Oct. 4 kickoff set


Another big announcement made Monday was a partnership with “Grow with Google” -- a national initiative that brings the expertise of Google to small businesses in the Fox Cities. A Grow with Google learning series kicks off on Tuesday, October 4 with two live small business workshops: “Reach your Customers Online with Google” and “Launch your Business with Customer Focused Marketing.”

Jessica Winkel, a Leadership Fox Cities graduate, was inspired by her time in our program, and the result is an upcoming BayCare women’s health fair at Long Chen Marketplace, specifically for women of the Hmong community.
