January 23, 2024 - Board Service Day

March 26, 2024 - Government Day

Wisconsin Primary Election is Tuesday

With only five days left before the primary election, there’s still time to make your plan for voting! Do you know if you’re already registered to vote? Have you moved recently? You can find out all the details of where and when you can vote, as well as a sample ballot, at myvote.wi.gov.

In most cases, in-person early voting ends on Friday August 5, though some municipalities have office hours over the weekend where you may be able to vote until Sunday. However, Wisconsin law allows you to register to vote on Election Day so you do not need to scramble into your municipal hall.

Important races for U.S. Senator, governor, attorney general, legislative, and county offices will be on your ballot. Primary elections have historically lower turnout compared to the general election in November, so your vote can matter even more!

Please note, while Wisconsin does not require you to be an official member of any political party to vote in their primary, you can only choose one party’s primary to vote in. For example, if you vote for a Republican candidate for governor, you cannot crossover and vote for a Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate. You must vote down the ballot on the same party line.

If you have any questions about voting or candidates, please don’t hesitate to contact our VP of Government Affairs: jturke@foxcitieschamber.com.
