Meet Your 2023-2025 State Legislative Leadership

Every two years after the elections are over, the members of each party caucus meet in the capitol to elect their internal leadership for the next legislative session. There are several new faces in leadership after several retirements and resignations, including former State Representative and Assembly Majority Leader Jim Steineke. The leadership teams in both houses decide the direction the caucuses will take on policy and political issues during the term.

Small businesses in the Fox Cities can schedule a free consultation with the Wisconsin Small Business Development Center (SBDC) on Wednesday, December 7. No matter what stage you are at in starting or growing your business, their small business experts are available for consultation at no cost.

Grow your nonprofit with an Ally Grant from the WEDC

The Ally Grant Pilot Program is designed to foster the development of new and/or emerging diverse-based nonprofit organizations that support diverse business communities. The WEDC will fund up to nine organizations, with a total of $225,000 in funding available during fiscal year 2023.
