Small Business Development Center to resume no-cost consultations at Chamber

The Fox Cities Chamber is once again partnering with the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) to have a consultant onsite at the Chamber on a monthly basis. Business owners seeking guidance growing their small business, or those thinking of starting a business, are welcome to reach out for no-cost, confidential consulting and business education.

Becky Bartoszek, President and CEO of the Chamber stated that “entrepreneurs and small businesses are vital to our economic growth. We want to see them succeed and provide the resources they need to do that. Working with the SBDC on site is another ‘tool’ we can offer, to help them start or grow a business.”

SBDC office hours will be held from 12 - 3 p.m., the third Tuesday of each month, beginning August 20 at the Fox Cities Chamber.

Our Octoberfest Golf Outing returns to High Cliff Golf Course on September 19.

We begin the day with a celebratory toast and along the course there will be beer and food samples to give golfers a taste of what's to come at this year's Octoberfest.

Local diverse-owned businesses can participate in 2025 NFL draft

The Green Bay Draft is around the corner and the NFL is looking to engage event-ready businesses within the state to support the production of this world-class event.

This procurement program is an opportunity for local minority, woman, person with disabilities, LGBTQ+ and/or veteran-owned businesses to gain exposure to sub-contracting opportunities related to the Draft (April 2025) and provide networking and capacity building for all accepted businesses.

Businesses selected for the program will be profiled in a directory for the Draft, which NFL primary contractors and event producers use to identify and select local suppliers to fulfill their sub-contracting needs. Becoming a member of the procurement program is a competitive process, and acceptance within the program does not guarantee contracts and/or RFP invites.
