Tickets available for The Connection: A Half-Day Event for Businesses to Learn, Celebrate, and Network

The Fox Cities Chamber has expanded its business awards into a half day program focused on connections. The Connection: An Afternoon for Learning, Celebrating, and Networking, features a jam-packed, engaging agenda.

  • Attendees will hear updates from Appleton International Airport’s director Abe Weber on how they are connecting our community to the world.
  • Fox Cities mayors will discuss how they are connecting their cities to success in a “CEO of the City” panel presentation.
  • The Chamber will present its 2023 business awards: Business of the Year, Environmental Champion, Community Attraction, FAB (Food and Beverage), Collaboration, Employee Friendly Workplace of the Year, and PULSE Champion of the Year.
  • Then the afternoon concludes with networking and cocktails, where new connections can be made.

The Connection will be held on Thursday, Nov. 2 at Waverly Beach in Menasha from 1- 5 PM. Early bird pricing for the event is $65, or $520 for a table of 8 (ends Oct. 12, 2023). Read more.

Time is running out! Register for the Octoberfest Golf Outing on September 11th

Get your lederhosen on and bring those clubs to High Cliff Golf Course on Monday, September 11. This 18 hole scramble will give you a taste of what’s to come during Appleton‘s Oktoberfest and License to Cruise. The outing is at High Cliff Golf Course in Sherwood with a 10 AM shotgun start:


  • Sample Octoberfest beers on the course.
  • View classic cars that will be at License to Cruise.
  • See and purchase our new event merchandise.
  • Play Octoberfest games on the course.
  • Kick off the morning with a traditional celebratory Octoberfest toast!

Appleton’s Octoberfest Announces Inaugural Octoberfest Champions

Appleton’s Octoberfest, an event of the Fox Cities Chamber, is excited to announce its first group of Octoberfest Champions. Octoberfest Champions serve as VIPs and advocates, both before and at the event, to show support for one of the area’s major festivals that generates incredible awareness for the community, helps nonprofits, and has a huge impact on the local economy.

In addition to our awards presentation, hear from ATW director Abe Weber, our Fox Cities Mayors at “CEO of the City,” then end the afternoon with networking and cocktails. Sponsorship opportunities range from $1,000 to $5,000.
