HMS Families,
Last week’s Spirit Week brought so much energy and fun to campus, and it was wonderful to see our Foxes, both students and staff alike, embrace each day’s theme. A big thank you to ASB for starting the year with such a spirited celebration of our school community.
We’re looking forward to welcoming families to campus tomorrow evening for Back to School Night! Students will complete a personalized schedule handout during homeroom tomorrow to bring home and use as your guide for the evening. You can also find a copy of the handout here. We hope you enjoy meeting your child’s teachers, visiting classrooms, and getting a glimpse into their day-to-day experience at HMS.
I’d also like to thank our San Marino Unified School District Board of Education for giving us the opportunity to share highlights from our successful opening of schools at yesterday evening’s board meeting. We are incredibly proud of the way our students, staff, and families have come together to begin our 2026–2027 school year.
Looking ahead, students will participate in NWEA testing next week. On Friday families will receive additional information through ParentSquare regarding the assessment and schedule.
Finally, a reminder that this Friday is a minimum day, so please plan accordingly for the earlier dismissal.
