PRINCIPAL'S MESSAGE

Dear HMS Families,

Hello from El Capitan!

We are having so much fun with our 7th graders! The weather has been beautiful, and students have enjoyed hiking, visiting the llamas, and spending time together outdoors. Today, they’ve been enjoying the pool and taking on the high ropes course. It’s wonderful to see them trying new things, encouraging one another, and making memories together.

Wi-Fi is spotty here, but we’re doing our best to upload pictures to the shared album whenever we can. While we love sharing glimpses of the experience, we aren’t able to accommodate requests for individual student photos. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we focus on helping everyone enjoy the trip!

Looking ahead, we’re excited for the Hauntington Breakfast on October 24th! Thank you to the families who have already donated. We appreciate your generosity and support in making this a special event for our school community.

For your planning, please remember that October 21st is a professional development day and a non-school day for students.

Thank you for your continued partnership and support!

Go Foxes!

Best,

Michelle Cota

THANK YOU

It truly takes a village to make magic happen and our FOX VILLAGE is always one to step up.

Thank you to our Noontime Fun chairs Lulu Lopez and Randa Casad for organizing our first lunchtime event last week. With the help of Brenda Salina, Leticia Sanchez, Tracy Maynard, Anisha Taheer, Heather Jones, Sara Katz, and Nadia Tedmori, our students enjoyed organized games like Tug O' War and delicious snack hand outs.

Thank you to our wondering 6th Grade Dance Chairs Anisha Taheer and Natalie Farrow for an amazing California Cool night for our young Foxes. It couldn't' have been possible without the help from our incredible volunteers Randa Casad, Brenda Cali, Tracy Maynard, Amy James, Nelle Tolles, Lulu Lopez, Laura Villalobos, Monika Coyle, Amanda Molino, Angelina Jorgensen, Nadia Tedmori, Jake Garcia, Lina Wu, Jackie Shen, Maria Manibog, Eucen Fu, Jameela Chen, Byron Smith, Mai-Noguchi-Liu, Amy Erenay, Helen Nguyen, and Helen Lee.
