Coworkers,

In this season of gratitude, giving, and caring, we want you to know how very thankful we are for you: for the hard work, dedication and compassionate care you provide, for the Franciscan Mission that you carry forward with excellence through your dedicated service, and for the Franciscan values that you put into practice every day.

During this season, it’s fitting that we are launching the new Franciscan VIP – Values in Practice – recognition platform across our health care ministry. It’s one way to show that we value and appreciate you, and a great tool to help us all recognize one another.

We’re excited to announce that Franciscan VIP is scheduled to launch on Dec. 6!

Check out the overview of features below and the resources to help you understand and use the new platform. Also, get familiar with seeing Beyond360 - you'll see it in the Franciscan VIP site link and in various email notifications from the Franciscan VIP system, including a launch email on Dec. 6.

Give a High Five!

Coworkers and leaders can recognize another coworker across the organization for everyday successes and demonstrations of Franciscan values.

eCards & Celebrations

Coworkers and leaders can send an eCard to show appreciation, congratulate, celebrate special moments and other times you want to send acknowledgements privately to any coworker across the organization. A celebration widget shares your department’s birthdays, new team members, and service anniversaries – and connects to the applicable eCard for sending wishes.

Leader GEM Award

Leaders can send reward points to any coworker across the organization for Going the Extra Mile (GEM) aligned with Franciscan values. It’s also shared publicly on the social wall, or the leader can send it privately.

Shop in the Online Store

Over time, points for GEM Awards can build up, and coworkers can redeem their points for an item in the online store.* This online shop has numerous options with various point levels.

Social Recognition Feed

The social recognition feed promotes formal recognition – High Fives and public Gem Awards – on the Franciscan VIP homepage. Coworkers can filter what displays in the social feed, and like, follow, or add a congratulatory comment.

Settings & Notifications

Add your photo to your profile. Review recognition you’ve sent and received. View and update profile settings, such as birthday and other notifications. Note: Users will receive notifications in Franciscan VIP and through email from our partner, Hinda / Beyond360.

Leader Tools

Leaders have access to their point budget and tools to help them gauge and promote engagement.

Leader Training / Q&A sessions: look for session details under Events on the homepage of MyFranciscan.
Resource Center – Franciscan VIP portal: program rules, user guide, and essential FAQs.
Access Franciscan VIP: (after go-live) FRANC – under Quick Links tab and HR section, MyFranciscan – under Quick Links on homepage, and emails from Beyond 360 and Franciscan HR.

*Refer to Program Rules, FAQs and other resources for more information. There is no charge for shipping and handling of rewards. In alignment with IRS guidelines, rewards from the online store will be taxable at their fair market value and will be included in the coworker’s paycheck as taxable income at the time of redemption.
