Dear Frankfort Chamber members,

Thanks to all our members who have taken part in our recent Zoom Meet, Greet & Network, and Zoom-BAH social gatherings! These opportunities provide all of us a chance to reconnect and see those familiar faces we miss. More opportunities are coming up, so please keep an eye on Kris’ Chamber Chatter, our website and social media!

Recognizing that small businesses are in crisis due to COVID-19, and that MBA students are missing out on valuable work experience during this time, the Small Business School Challenge was created!

The  Small Business School Challenge  is offering free support to small businesses across the country and are currently seeking applications. It is a 48 hour virtual program on 5/14-16 for small businesses to receive business support from the best MBAs in the country. Teams of three MBA students with deep professional experience will provide you with hands-on consulting around the theme of ‘emerging from the crisis with confidence’.

They appreciate that you are currently analyzing your immediate cash flow needs and the various aid packages being provided. By mid-May, however, you will need to begin considering planning for the future. This program will provide you with a robust 12-month plan while requiring minimum distraction from daily business life.  It will be free for you to take part, and the MBAs will have the chance to win cash prizes for you.

You can learn more at  their website , and apply through  this form The application deadline is 5/8 at 11.59pm PST (1:59AM CST).  I was advised they anticipate receiving approximately 500 requests, and have a goal to be able to assist 200, so submit your application now!   They will notify all applicants on their status on 5/10.  If you have any questions please first consult the FAQs on their website, and then follow the instructions provided if your question is not answered. They really hope to see you apply!
