If you live in the Williamsburg area and believe in the sanctity of all human life, please join me this Sunday, October 2nd from 2:00 to 3:15pm at the 4th annual "Life Chain." The "Life Chain" held nationally on Respect Life Sunday is a prayer chain and public witness against abortion and in favor of life.
This is not a protest but an event to focuse on prayer. The chain will be held on the sidewalk facing Richmond Road starting at Centerville Road. Led by St. Olaf Catholic Church, pro-lifers of all faiths are invited to join in silent prayer and hold signs attesting to the "Truth" that abortion kills children.
Franklin Graham coming to Richmond for the
Decision America Tour
In just a few weeks, I will be in Richmond for the Decision America Tour prayer rally. Will you and your church be there to stand with me at the Capitol?
Wednesday, October 12
12:00-1:00 p.m.
Capitol Grounds
Our nation's moral foundation is crumbling, and as our culture tries to remove God from public view and silence His Word, we must continue to share the Good News and take a stand for religious freedom and God's truth. That's why Franklin Graham will be in Richmond-and every other state capital in 2016. Our nation needs to turn to God, and it begins with His people, the church. We must confess our sins as individuals-and as a nation-and call on God to heal our land (2 Chronicles 7:14).
I hope you will join me and invite others to come with you-bring your children or fill a van from your church. Even if you have to drive across the state, it will be worth it to stand together and pray for our nation at this critical time. For more information, go to decisionamericatour.com.
Also, there will be a pre-rally prayer meeting in House Room 3 of the state capitol next Saturday, October 1st from 9:30-11:00am. Please try to attend if you are able.
Sincerely,
Brenda L. Pogge
P.S. If your church is participating or bringing a bus or if you would like to volunteer at the rally, please let my husband, Roger know by emailing him at roger@familyfoundation.org. He is the state volunteer captain for Virginia.
