New Bud
A-B InBev has introduced its new Budweiser Discovery Reserve American Red Lager, a limited edition beer that celebrates the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 lunar landing. Brewed with Voyager barley malt, the beer was inspired by an archival recipe for Budweiser from the Apollo 11 era. The bottle features 11 stars to represent the historic Apollo 11 mission and two different bottle caps recalling the Moon and pointing toward Mars as a future destination. Discovery Reserve is part of Budweiser’s Reserve Collection, and follows Reserve Copper Lager and Freedom Reserve. It will be available through September.

New Bud Light
Bud Light will add a new Lemon Tea line extension for the summer, launching on Monday. Brewed with lemon peels and aged over black tea leaves, the 4.2% abv ale joins Bud Light Lime and Orange in AB InBev’s seasonal portfolio. Billed as a light and sessionable brew, the beer is debuting in 12-packs of slim cans, in addition to 6- and 12-packs of bottles. The cans and bottles will be labeled with ingredients and serving facts, as well as icons advertising that it was made without corn syrup—in a nod to Bud Light parent company AB InBev’s ongoing feud with MillerCoors
