Redemption centers for bottles, cans remain closed during COVID-19 emergency
With the COVID-19 pandemic already placing retail workers and customers at risk, stores have closed their bottle and can redemption centers until the crisis passes.
Although the store makes money when the containers are redeemed, changes should be made if redeeming them during a global health emergency puts people at risk.
