Fall Fundraising Campaign

OUR GOAL: $12,000

CURRENT TOTAL:
$6,901

As we head into winter break and wrap up 2025, we want to thank our community for the incredible support so far, and make one final ask for those who haven’t yet donated to the Franklin/Randall PTO.

PTO funds directly support our schools by:

  1. Funding grants - bringing author Baptiste Paul to Franklin, supporting Randall’s craft club, and providing innovative learning materials at both schools.
  2. Supporting social justice - equipping our social workers to help families in need.
  3. Building community - hosting events like the Glow Ball, End-of-Year Picnic, Movie Nights, and providing every student with a school t-shirt.

Your gift, of any size, helps us reach our goal and continue these important programs. Thank you for supporting our students and schools!

No gift is too small, every dollar makes a difference!

Checks are also welcome! Make out to Franklin-Randal PTO

and send in an envelope with your student to school or mail to either school.

Reminder: Winter Break runs from Monday Dec 22- Friday Jan 2. School resumes Monday, Jan 5th!

Let Me Run Coaches Needed!

Let Me Run, a running program for boys in 3rd through 5th grade, will be back this spring! We currently have enough coaches to support one 14-boy team practicing on Mondays and Wednesdays, but we’d love to expand the opportunity to an additional 14 boys by hosting another team on Mondays and Wednesdays.

If you’re interested in coaching on Mondays from 1:15- 2:30pm and/or Wednesdays from 2:30– 3:45pm at Randall, please reach out to:

ian.m.lowe@gmail.com and president@franklinrandallpto.org.

The curriculum is fully provided by the Let Me Run program, so planning is minimal. We need 2 additional coaches on both days in order to expand to a second team.

Families of current 5th graders: Middle School Lottery

Starting on Monday, November 3rd, current 5th graders could start applying for one of the following Lottery Schools:

  • Wright - Preference given to students residing in the Elementary Schools feeding into West High.
