April 16-22, 2017
"She turned to leave and saw someone standing there. It was Jesus, but she didn't recognize him. "Dear woman, why are you crying?" Jesus asked her. "Who are you looking for?"  She thought he was the gardener. "Sir," she said, "if you have taken him away, tell me where you have put him, and I will go and get him." "Mary!" Jesus said. She turned to him and cried out, "Rabboni!" (which is Hebrew for "Teacher"). " -- John 20.14-16

Take Them a Meal
The Frankton First UMC Women's Fellowship is coordinating meals for Rex, Julie and Halie Abbott.  We have created an online sign-up through "Take Them a Meal." Go to:
  • Go to the center yellow block titled FIND
  • Type in the recipient's last name: Abbott
  • The password is: 7996ab
  • You will receive Rex and Julie's address in a confirmation email. To coordinate delivery, contact Julie on her cell at 765-620-1284 (call or text).
When you sign up, you will be asked for your email and phone number (this will not appear on the sign-up, it is for the church office only). You also will see who has signed up and the meal they are bringing so duplication can be avoided. Any food allergies or "don'ts" for the Abbotts also are listed. If you want to help, but don't have time to cook a meal, you have the option of sending a meal through the Take Them A Meal service.

If you have any questions or need help signing up, contact the church office,  765-754-7996, between  9 a.m. and 12 noon on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays or Fridays. The office is closed  Wednesday. You also can email the office at  franktonfirstumc@gmail.com.

Thank you, in advance, for your generosity.

FFUMC Upcoming Classes for Our Youth
Register your child or grandchild for our  Confirmation Classes for 7th, 8th and 9th Grade
Youth.  All 7th, 8th and 9th grade youth who attend church are invited to participate in a Confirmation Class.

Confirmation is an important step in a faith journey. During middle or junior high years youth are seeking a sense of belonging, and belonging to the community of faith is an appropriate response. Confirmation class offers guidance as young people learn more about God, the Methodist faith and our church.
The class will meet on Sundays after the second service. The dates are April 23 and 30, May 7, June 4 and 11 with the confirmation on Sunday, June 25, at both services.
Sign your child up for either of these classes by using our online form >>click here or contact the church office: franktonfirstumc@gmail.com or 765-754-7996.

Youth Sunday is April 30
We will celebrate our youth during two services on Sunday, April 30.  Join us as we embrace our young people as they walk their faith journey.

There will be a potato bar fundraiser after the NOW service at The Factory, so plan to have lunch and raise money for youth activities.
