  • 22: Young Adult Bible Study at The Factory at 7 p.m.
  • 29: Pastor Dave Kyle preaches at both services. We will celebrate the 25th anniversary of his first sermon with cake and a reception in the gym area of The Factory in between first and second service. All are invited.


  • 18: Our next Tenderloin Dinner will be Saturday, March 18, from 4 to 7 p.m. at The Factory.
  • 31 : Pack night for Eagle Packs. Meet at 6 p.m. in The Factory gym. NOTE: This is a change from February 2.

 It is time to update the contact information for our church directory. An insert was in the bulletin yesterday, but you also can go online to a secure Google Form and enter your information. If you 
are a member or regularly attend our church, please complete the information, even if you think we have it (there have been changes). January 30 is our deadline to collect updates and new

Religious Scholarship Program Available  
The Church Mutual Insurance Company Foundation sponsors a CM CARES Religious Scholars Program.  The program is offering 50 scholarships of $5,000 each for a total of $250,000 for the 2017-18 academic year. The scholarship is for students committed to entering the practice of full-time ministry in the United States  who are in an advanced degree (post-secondary) religious studies program at an accredited theological seminary, college or university during the 2017-18 academic year. Students serving in their final year of an internship program are also eligible to apply. Students across all denominations are encouraged to apply.

Applications will be accepted from January 3 until April 15, 2017. The 50 scholarship recipients will be announced in May 2017. Click here>> for more information on this scholarship.

Congratulations to Lisa Ellison
We send congratulations to our own, Lisa Ellison. Lisa was united in marriage to  Yoshiya Kinjo. 

As many of you know, Lisa (Jeannie and Bob Mills' niece) left our congregation to serve as a teacher/missionary for the Church of God. She teaches conversational English at a Christian girls school in Tokyo. She and Yoshiya were married  on December 27 in Okinawa, Japan.

May God bless Lisa and Yoshiya as they begin their life together!

Online Giving Now Available at FFUMC 
 You now have options when it comes to tithing at Frankton First United Methodist Church.   You may give by placing an offering in the offering plate on Sunday mornings, with a credit or debit 
card online or on your mobile device, or through electronic funds transfer (EFT) right from your checking or savings account. 

The frequency of your giving is up to you. 
  Recurring gifts may be scheduled online weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly, or you may also give one-time gifts online, as well. Check-out the specifics below for online and electronic funds transfer.

Don't Forget Donations to the Frankton Food Pantry
Current needs for the food pantry are: canned vegetables (other than corn or green beans), soups, canned fruit and personal hygiene items. Bins are located at the church and The Factory.

The food pantry is open from 10 a.m. to 12 noon on Tuesdays. It is located at the Frankton Christian Church's Family Life Center.
