Consecration to the Holy Family

December 29 is the Feast of the Holy Family. Bring families closer to Jesus, the Blessed Virgin Mary and St. Joseph by organizing a group consecration to the Holy Family. Click here for resources and ideas on how to run the event

Disaster Preparedness

Hurricane Helene was a stark reminder of the importance of disaster preparedness. Get your council and parish ready through the Disaster Preparedness program. Communication, training and funding are key. Read this guide sheet to start building a plan.

Extend the Invitation

Men are waiting for you to invite them to join the Knights of Columbus. Here are two easy ways you and the members of your council can invite men to join:

  1. Use Online Join Cards (#11689). Fill in your council number and member number and keep a few in your wallet at all times. You never know when the opportunity will arise to invite someone you’re talking to – on the sidelines of your kid’s game, at the coffee social after Mass, or even at the next tailgate party. Give the cards out as a quick way to say, “I’d like to invite you to become a Knight of Columbus!”
  2. Send out “On Mission” Invitations (#11732). Work with your pastor to identify men in your parish that should join the Knights of Columbus. At your next council meeting, ask members to write out two invitations each and send them to the prospects. Be sure to personalize the card and perhaps invite him and his family to your next event.

These resources and the “Fishers of Men” Guidebook (FOM-GUIDE) can be found on Supplies Online. Log into Officers Online, click on the Supplies Online icon, and then click on the “Fishers of Men: A Culture of Invitation” folder located on the home page. And remember, it’s not about a number, it’s about more mission.

Investing in the Light of Faith

Why should Catholics approach their investment decisions in the light of their faith? Join a live webinar to hear answers to that question from Chief Investment Officer Anthony Minopoli and Dr. John Grabowski, moral theologian to Knights of Columbus Asset Advisors. This Fraternal Benefit Event is open to all, including non-members, and will be held Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at 8 p.m. ET. Register today to reserve your spot.

Attendance at this event will be counted as a Fraternal Benefit Event for your council. A confirmation email will be sent to the Grand Knight after the event. You will not need to submit a Fraternal Benefits Event Report (#11077) unless one of the following issues exists:

  • You believe there were more attendees from your council than we recorded. If this is the case, contact your State Deputy for a list of recorded attendees and submit form 11077 to report additional member or member-eligible attendees not included on that report.
  • You held a watch party for the event where one person registered for the event, and multiple people attended. Submit a form 11077 for all member or member-eligible attendees that did not register on their own.
