New Membership Video for Canada

A new video to promote membership in Canada is available for download on Supplies Online in both English and French. Click on the “Membership Growth” category, then click on “Membership Growth Videos”. The title of the video is “We are Knights in Canada” and can be downloaded to use at events or posted on social media channels.

Important Reminders for Fraternal Leaders

District Deputy

Grand Knight

  • Continue to submit the Fraternal Programs Report Form (#10784) for program activity upon completion of every event. This report gives us important real time data on council activities. Your inputs are used in ongoing evaluation and improvements to our Faith in Action programs.
  • Schedule a transition meeting with outgoing and incoming officers and directors.
  • Complete the Fraternal Benefits Event Council Report (#11077) as soon as possible after participating in an approved seminar. For awards consideration these forms must be received by June 30.
  • Q3 Cor Data Needed: If you haven't already, please submit your Q3 Cor Report Cor - Quarterly Report - FY 24-25. This survey is essential for understanding the impact of Cor across the Order.
  • FY 25/26 Council EFF Director Submission Form now available. As soon as you or your successor know your EFF Director for the next fraternal year, please fill out this quick form to ensure he receives all Cor communications.

Financial Secretary

  • If your council's annual accounting period ends Dec. 31, then May 15 is the deadline to submit the proper IRS form 990 (US Councils only). Ensure that this paperwork is filed.
  • Immediately after officer elections submit the Report of Officers Chosen for the Term (#185) and Service Program Personnel Report (#365) using the Member Management application. View a short 'How To' video on using Member Management here. This method immediately updates the Supreme Council system at the start of the new fraternal year with the name and contact information for all officers and directors of your council.

Fourth Degree

  • The Fourth Degree will host TWO training sessions in July.
  • District Master and Assembly quarterly training will be on July 21, 2025 at 8:00 PM EDT: "Assembly Faithful Navigator Training."
  • We will invite the District Masters and Faithful Navigators to this meeting.
  • Followed on July 23, 2025 at 8:00 PM EDT: "Assembly Officer Training."
  • We will invite the District Masters and ALL Assembly Officers to this meeting.

Programs

Pilgrim Icon Program – Sacred Heart of Jesus

June is the month of the Sacred Heart – culminating with the Feast of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus on June 27! Spread devotion to Our Lord by hosting a Sacred Heart Holy Hour (with or without the Pilgrim Icon) or distributing Home Enthronement resources at your parish. Resources can be found at kofc.org/sacredheart, on Supplies Online, or for non-members at shopcatholicinfo.com. Stay tuned for additional program materials in the coming weeks, including a novena!

Hockey Challenge 

This program can be run any time of the year, on ice in the winter or in a parking lot during those warm days. When councils think about fun, easy-to-run programs during the summer, please consider running the Hockey Challenge program. For more information about this program, visit kofc.org/hockey. Catholic Citizenship Essay Contest

Please send any suggested essay topic ideas for the 2025-26 Fraternal Year Essay Contest to Jason.Porrello@kofc.org. This past fraternal year’s prompt was “In an essay of 500-750 words, what are the two most important virtues for an elected leader to possess, and why? How can you determine if the leader has these virtues?”. 

Evangelization and Faith Formation 

  • Your council's Cor story matters – it helps shape and inspire our shared mission. As we wrap up the fraternal year, please submit Cor - Quarterly Report - FY 24-25 and FY 25/26 Council EFF Director Submission Form.

*Attendance at any of these Virtual Fraternal Benefit Events will be counted as a Fraternal Benefit Event for your council. A confirmation email will be sent to the Grand Knight after the event. You will not need to submit a Fraternal Benefits Event Report (#11077) unless one of the following issues exists:

  • You believe there were more attendees from your council than we recorded. If this is the case, contact your State Deputy for a list of recorded attendees and submit form 11077 to report additional member or member-eligible attendees not included on that report.
  • You held a watch party for the event where one person registered for the event, and multiple people attended. Submit a form 11077 for all member or member-eligible attendees that did not register on their own.
