How to Find the Fraternal Training That's Right for You

Visit kofc.org/training to find online training for state, council, district and assembly officers, as well as important instruction for handling Operations (including Administration, Finances and Forms), Growth & Retention, and Programs & Engagement.

Not sure which training is right for you? Go to our helpful list of Suggested Training by Office to find out what is recommended for your officer position. Training is reviewed on a continuing basis, so you will always get the most up-to-date information. Best of all, these on-demand sessions are available to view at any time, on your own schedule, and the average length of each session is only 30 minutes!

“Go for Two” Using New Resources!

Knights who recruit two men between September 1st and December 31st, 2025, will be entered into a drawing to receive a cash prize of $1,500!* Ten second-place winners will receive a customized, K of C-branded football.

* For insurance jurisdictions only. Cash prize is in USD. Other restrictions apply.

Three newly released resources can help you and your brother Knights “go for two” — invite two men to join the Knights of Columbus this fall:

  1. Membership enrollment cards, which you and your brother Knights can hand out before Mass, give men an opportunity to fill out their information and indicate their desire to sign up for e-membership at no cost for the first year.
  2. A pulpit announcement that mentions the cards and will help maximize your recruitment success.
  3. The Membership Outreach Checklist can help you take all the best steps to bring the Knights of Columbus mission to more men.

These items are free and available for order on Supplies Online by clicking on the Membership Enrollment Card folder in Membership Recruitment.

  • Verify and update member contact information on the Member Management application available at Officers Online. Programs

Support ASAP (Aid and Support After Pregnancy)

Help to build a culture of life in America by supporting mothers and their children through ASAP. For every $500 your council donates, Supreme will donate another $100 (up to $400). The goal for this fraternal year is to donate $5 million to pregnancy resource centers and maternity homes throughout the US and Canada. To learn how your council can participate and find a local pregnancy resource center to support, visit kofc.org/asap. KofC-branded baby bottles that can be used for parish baby bottle drives can also be found on Supplies Online. Order yours today!

Food for Families

As food prices continue to rise, an alarming number of people require assistance and rely on food pantries or soup kitchens to help feed their families. Encourage your council to get involved with our Food for Families program, which provides councils with a refund of $100 for every $500 dollars or 1,000 pounds they donate, up to $500 per fraternal year. For more information, please visit www.kofc.org/food.

Coats for Kids

As kids start going back to school and the weather gets colder, the need for coats increases. Talk to your pastor and your local community to begin raising funds for a Coats for Kids event in your area. Coats are available on knightsgear.com, so don’t wait too long to purchase yours. For ideas on how to raise funds, please refer to our Coats for Kids Fundraising book, available by clicking here. You can also review the program Guidebook to learn even more about effectively organizing an event in your area. View the guidebook at this link.

Evangelization and Faith Formation

  • The annual State Evangelization and Faith Formation Training was held September 4-7 in New Haven, CT with State EFF Directors and Cor Clergy Liaisons for a weekend of collaboration, learning and brotherhood. A summary of the training will be shared soon.
  • Onboarding Emails: Once the Council EFF Director Submission Form is submitted, Council EFF Directors will receive a weekly series of 6-8 onboarding emails filled with practical tips and planning tools for a successful year.
  • Website Updates: The Cor homepage (kofc.org/cor) has been redesigned to provide a clearer, more engaging explanation of Cor - making it easier to share with others.
  • Leader-specific materials are now conveniently located on a dedicated page, accessible from the homepage or directly at kofc.org/corleaders
  • Cor Formation Content Guide: An updated guide to help your EFF Directors easily select the best formation content for their group - including content overviews, session counts, suggested materials, and a convenient QR code for quick access.

Celebrate the Beatification Anniversary!

October 31 is the fifth anniversary of the beatification of Blessed Michael McGivney. As this anniversary approaches, consider honoring our Founder by sharing his story. A great way to do this is by using the Blessed Michael McGivney Cor Session Guide, which provides materials for ten sessions, including suggested prayers, readings about our Founder’s life and group discussion questions.

Officers with access to Supplies Online can purchase the Blessed Michael McGivney Cor session booklets for $3 each. Download and print a free digital copy of Blessed Michael McGivney Cor Sessions at kofc.org/shopcis.

Learn More About KCCF's Council Accounts

A Council Account with Knights of Columbus Charitable Fund can help your council fundraise more effectively to support fraternal programs and grow your charitable assets. Grand Knights, Treasurers and Council Officers are encouraged to attend. This webinar will be co-hosted by Sean Scully, KCCF Relationship Manager, and John Moulder, Vice President of Fraternal Operations.
