Three newly released resources can help you and your brother Knights “go for two” — invite two men to join the Knights of Columbus this fall: 

1. Membership enrollment cards, which you and your brother Knights can hand out before Mass, give men an opportunity to fill out their information and indicate their desire to sign up for e-membership at no cost for the first year. 
2. A pulpit announcement that mentions the cards and will help maximize your recruitment success. 
3. The Membership Outreach Checklist can help you take all the best steps to bring the Knights of Columbus mission to more men.

These items are free and available for order on Supplies Online by clicking on the Membership Enrollment Card folder in Membership Recruitment. 

Every local council should be submitting their Officer Report Form #185 and Program Personnel Report Form #365 as soon as possible for this fraternal year. Submission of these report forms in a timely fashion is the only way that local councils can let the Supreme Council know who needs to receive council officer leadership information and programming communications throughout the fraternal year.

Please submit the completed forms to FraternalMission@KofC.org.

District Deputy

• Confirm that all of your councils have submitted the Report of Officers Chosen for the Term (#185, due July 1), Service Program Personnel Report (#365, due July 1), and Semiannual Council Audit (#1295, due August 15).
• Review the Safe Environment compliance of your councils. Pay special attention to members that will need to take a refresher course during the fraternal year. Council compliance can be reviewed using the reports tab on Officers’ Online.
• Work with your Field Agent to schedule a district wide Fraternal Benefits Event in the fall. All councils should promote attendance.
• Ensure all your councils have a fall membership drive.
• Please remind councils that the EFF director position needs to be submitted via a separate form for Fraternal Year 2025-2026: Council EFF Director Submission Form (online submission only).

Grand Knight

• Confirm that your council has submitted the Report of Officers Chosen for the Term (#185, due July 1), Service Program Personnel Report (#365, due July 1), and Semiannual Council Audit (#1295, due August 15). If not, do so immediately.
• Complete the Fraternal Benefits Event Council Report (#11077) as soon as possible after participating in an approved seminar.
• Build a strong leadership bench by identifying future leaders of your council, empowering them to run initiatives, and mentoring them on fraternal operations.
• Review the Faith in Action program forms reference guide (#11172) for form submission details on all programs, and share this important resource with all the program chairmen in your council. Please note that RSVP and Food for Families applications should be submitted as soon as possible after donations are made.
• Council EFF Director Submission Form. This form needs to be submitted each fraternal year, even if your Council EFF Director is the same as last year.
• Once submitted, Council EFF Directors will now receive a weekly series of 6-8 onboarding emails filled with practical tips and planning tools for a successful year.

Financial Secretary

• Verify and update member contact information on the Member Management application available at Officers Online. The grand knight might have the most current email addresses for all members, but it is important that this information is also recorded with the Supreme Council. Any changes in member phone, address or email should be updated at the local and supreme council level.
• Review the Fraternal Excellence Guide (#11619) for the latest information on council operations and the role of Financial Secretary.

Fourth Degree

• The Fourth Degree will host the next training session in September.
• District Master and Assembly quarterly training will be on September 22, 2025 at 8:00 PM EDT: "Drill Manual Update Review."
• We will invite the District Masters, Faithful Navigators, and ALL Assembly Officers to this meeting.

Support ASAP (Aid and Support After Pregnancy) 

Help to build a culture of life in America by supporting mothers and their children through ASAP. For every $500 your council donates, Supreme will donate another $100 (up to $400). The goal for this fraternal year is to donate $5 million to pregnancy resource centers and maternity homes throughout the US and Canada. Food for Families

As food prices continue to rise, an alarming number of people require assistance and rely on food pantries or soup kitchens to help feed their families. Encourage your council to get involved with our Food for Families program, which provides councils with a refund of $100 for every $500 dollars or 1,000 pounds they donate, up to $500 per fraternal year. For more information, please visit www.kofc.org/food.

Coats for Kids

As kids start going back to school and the weather gets colder, the need for coats increases. Talk to your pastor and your local community to begin raising funds for a Coats for Kids event in your area. Coats are available on knightsgear.com, so don’t wait too long to purchase yours. • The annual State Evangelization and Faith Formation Training was held September 4-7 in New Haven, CT with State EFF Directors and Cor Clergy Liaisons for a weekend of collaboration, learning and brotherhood. A summary of the training will be shared soon. 
• Onboarding Emails: Once the Council EFF Director Submission Form is submitted, Council EFF Directors will receive a weekly series of 6-8 onboarding emails filled with practical tips and planning tools for a successful year.
• Website Updates: The Cor homepage (kofc.org/cor) has been redesigned to provide a clearer, more engaging explanation of Cor - making it easier to share with others.
• Leader-specific materials are now conveniently located on a dedicated page, accessible from the homepage or directly at kofc.org/corleaders. 
• Cor Formation Content Guide: An updated guide to help your EFF Directors easily select the best formation content for their group - including content overviews, session counts, suggested materials, and a convenient QR code for quick access.

October 31 is the fifth anniversary of the beatification of Blessed Michael McGivney. As this anniversary approaches, consider honoring our Founder by sharing his story. A great way to do this is by using the Blessed Michael McGivney Cor Session Guide, which provides materials for ten sessions, including suggested prayers, readings about our Founder’s life and group discussion questions.
