FLA Live: March Edition – Fraternal Webinar Series

FLA Live: Building a Reciprocal Relationship Between Grand Knights & Field Agents

Join us on Thursday, March 19 at 8:00 PM ET for the next edition of our monthly FLA Live! webinar series. Click on the button to register, learn this month's topics, and submit any questions.

REMINDER: MONTHLY COUNCIL SPOTLIGHT

Each month, as part of our FLA Live! Fraternal Webinar Series, we feature a council that is excelling in membership growth, programs, evangelization, faith formation or building a strong brotherhood of men. We want to showcase YOUR council! Tell us the great things your council is doing in your parish and community. Please email us at fraternaltraining@kofc.org so we can put the spotlight on your council.

Powerful Lenten Resources

Lent is in full swing. Now is the time to make it a transformative season for your brother Knights and the men of your parish!

Access powerful resources at kofc.org/Lent, including a video series each Sunday with Father Jonathan Kalisch and Renzo Ortega as they reflect on what sacrifice means as Catholic men.

You’ll also find a guide to confession, meditations for praying the Stations of the Cross and more.

Share these resources with your brother Knights and fellow parishioners this Lent!

Learn More About Opening a KCCF Council Account

Register Today! A Council Account with Knights of Columbus Charitable Fund can help your council fundraise more effectively to support fraternal programs and grow your charitable assets. Joshua Gideon, KCCF Chief of Strategy, and Drew Dillingham, Director of Programs and Member Engagement, will be presenting the webinar Council Accounts: A Council's Charitable Resource on March 10, 2026 at 8PM ET to help councils improve their charitable efforts. Grand Knights, Treasurers and Council Officers are encouraged to attend!

Important Reminders for Successful Fraternal Leaders

Fraternal Training

  • Visit kofc.org/training to locate online training for state, council, district and assembly officers. These training sessions are available on demand, and the average length is only 30 minutes! Suggested Training by Officer Role is a great place to get started.

Evangelization and Faith Formation

Check out what's new:

District Deputy

  • Conduct a quarterly district meeting to ensure your councils close the fraternal year strong. Review Star Council progress, council election procedures, and have council leaders share best practices.
  • Coordinate a district Fraternal Benefits Event (virtual or in person) so every council has the opportunity to earn the Founders’ Award.
  • Encourage councils to appoint a nominating committee to recommend officers for the next fraternal year. Have the committee look beyond the usual volunteers to find a good mix of candidates representing fresh ideas and sound council practices.

Grand Knight

Financial Secretary

  • Council Assessments Due - The Per Capita, Catholic Advertising and Culture of Life levies are due to the Supreme Council before April 10 to avoid suspension. A suspended council may not be seated at their state convention, nor are its members eligible to be delegates to the Supreme Council Meeting and Convention. Your council assessment bill can be found in Officers Online on the “Reports” tab.

Programs

  • Silver Rose: This year’s Silver Rose program officially opened on February 14th. Find the schedule for each route here.
  • Holy Hour for Life with Our Lady of Guadalupe): Offer a Holy Hour for Life with Our Lady of Guadalupe on March 25th, the Day of the Unborn Child, to pray for her intercession for the end of abortion. The Holy Hour for Life Booklet is the key resource for this program.
  • ¡Viva Cristo Rey!: As the feast of the Mexican Martyrs approaches on May 21st, plan to pray the Mexican Martyrs Novena with your council and parish. These brother Knights gave their lives to defend the faith and stand with Christ the King.

Fourth Degree

  • The Fourth Degree will host the next District Master and Assembly quarterly training on April 20, 2026 at 8:00 PM EST: "Assembly year-end wrap up, preparing for the next fraternal year"
  • We will invite the Vice Supreme Masters, District Masters, Faithful Navigators, and ALL Assembly Officers to this meeting.
  • District Masters can email any questions to: Michael J. Porter, Fourth Degree Director of Training: MJPKNIGHT9282@AOL.COM
