District Deputy Corner
  • Are you on track to bring in 12 new Knights before Christmas and earn a $250 gift card? Learn more and track your progress here.
  • State deputies will be receiving a best practices for growing membership in the virtual world at their midyear meeting this weekend. Reach out to him for a copy ahead of your jurisdiction's midyear meeting.
  • Every council in your district should have adjusted to COVID-19 operations by now. While it may not be business as usual, all councils should be holding meetings, virtually, in person or hybrid, and working to support their local parish(es) in whatever way they can. If any are still struggling, share our resources for operations during COVID-19 and personally help them get restarted. If you need additional support, contact your Regional Training Director.
  • Check with each council to make sure they have submitted forms #185 and #365. This short tutorial will walk councils through the online submission process which updates the information immediately. 
  • Schedule your District midyear meeting. This should be held as soon as possible after your jurisdiction midyear meeting.
Council Officer Corner
Grand Knight
  • Complete your Safe Environment training and confirm that your Program Director, Family Director, and Community Director have done the same. Members will be automatically removed from these positions if they do not complete the required training within 45 days of appointment. Council and member status can be checked using the Reports tab on Officers Online. 
  • Safe Environment compliance is required for the Star Council award. Don’t wait until the end of the fraternal year to try and get your council compliant. Use Member Management to appoint the required Directors now. This short tutorial will walk you through the process.
Retention Chairman
  • Appoint a committee to work with the Financial Secretary on updating member contact information. It is essential that a council have a valid phone number and email address for every member on the roster. Use personal contacts, parish directories, internet searches, etc. to help gather the information.
Program Director
  • As COVID-19 spikes across the country it is time to renew your council’s commitment to Leave No Neighbor Behind. Your brother knights, parish and community need your council now more than ever. Review the LNNB Guidebook and take action today.
