The Member Satisfaction Study is now open, and the questionnaire is live online at kofc.org/kofcstudy. If you haven't already, please be among the first to complete the questionnaire.

We are asking Grand Knights and council leaders to promote widespread participation in the study. Promotional materials for councils are available for download, including a printable flyer and an email template for Grand Knights. The materials are available in the online Supply Store > Member Satisfaction Study Resources folder. 

As a reminder, the questionnaire will close on April 30. Thank you for your continued collaboration in this important initiative.

Each state winner will be submitted to Supreme for consideration for the international award, the Blessed Michael McGivney Medal (BMMM). The winner will be announced at the Supreme Convention.

Knights of Columbus agencies are offering new financial informational webinars for 2023. These online seminars feature industry leading speakers who will touch on various topics of value to our members and their families: the importance of life insurance, retirement planning, savings and more!



Participation in these events qualifies towards Founder’s Award requirements for Fraternal Benefit Events.

For Canada: Canadian insurance agencies are planning for agent-led events and presentations. Please coordinate directly with your general agent.

New promotional resources are now live and available to help council leaders host and promote successful Fraternal Benefit Events. Review and download these new materials from the online Supply Store. 

Through the new Fraternal Benefit Event Resources catalog, fraternal leaders now have access to:

• Fraternal Benefit Events Guidebook - A 10-page guide for council leaders for successful event planning
• Event Planning Workbook - An 8–10-week plan to maximize your event success
• Bulletin & Pulpit Announcements – language to promote your events to members, prospects and parishioners

Fraternal Trainers are a resource for fraternal leaders in both the United States and Canada. They provide training for state, district, and council leaders, both virtually and in person. Click here to learn about upcoming virtual training opportunities.

• Encourage your councils to submit the Columbian Award Application (#SP-7) as soon as they earn 16 program activities. This ensures timely processing. They should continue to file the Fraternal Programs Report Form (#10784) for all additional programs conducted.
• Confirm that all councils in your district submitted the Annual Survey of Fraternal Activity (#1728). Every dollar and hour count towards telling the collective story of our Order.
• Conduct a quarterly district meeting to ensure your councils close the fraternal year strong. Review Star Council progress, council election procedures, and have council leaders share best practices.

Grand Knight

• The Semiannual Council Audit Report (#1295) was due February 15. This form is required to maintain the bonding on your Financial Secretary and Treasurer.
• Confirm council Safe Environment compliance on the Reports tab of Officers Online.
• Complete the Fraternal Benefit Seminar Form (#11077) and submit to your General Agent as soon as possible after promoting an approved seminar.

Financial Secretary

• Council Payments Due - The Per Capita, Catholic Advertising and Culture of Life levies are due to the Supreme Council before April 10. Failure to pay will result in suspension of the council. A suspended council may not be seated at their state convention, nor are its members eligible to be delegates to the Supreme Council Meeting and Convention.
• Timely processing of member additions and changes is critical as we approach the end of the fraternal year. If your council is on track to earn Star Council, all form 100s need to be processed by June 30. You can submit a paper form 100 or use the Candidate Tab on Officers Online.

Eucharistic Processions

Councils should be ready to assist their parishes and provide their pastors with the support they need to organize a Eucharistic Procession on June 11th, the Feast of Corpus Christi (also known as the Feast of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ). Resources including training videos to instructional guides can be found at kofc.org/eucharist.



Eucharistic Processions fall under the “Holy Hour” program and are a Featured Program.

Fundraise for ASAP this Mother’s Day!

Mother’s Day is the perfect time to host an event and collect donations in support of pregnancy resource centers and maternity homes. Read the ASAP program’s Handbook for ideas including baby bottle or item drives. K of C-branded baby bottles can be purchased on Supplies Online and can be found in the “Pregnancy Center Support” folder on the site.

Habitat for Humanity

As the weather gets warmer, Knights of Columbus councils will continue to work closely with Habitat for Humanity, a nonprofit Christian organization, to build homes for families in need at substantially reduced costs. Each year, councils throughout the Order donate many volunteer hours and dollars to this worthy cause. Contact your local Habitat for Humanity office by visiting habitat.org in the U.S., or habitat.ca in Canada, to learn about Habitat for Humanity build near you.

Job Opportunity:

Senior Director for Military and Veteran Affairs

This is an exciting position for someone with fraternal and military leadership experience. The ideal applicant will have served successfully as District Deputy or higher. He also should be a college graduate who attained the U.S.A. military rank of O5, E9, or higher. The position is at the Supreme Headquarters in New Haven, Connecticut.

This position is the liaison to the Archdiocese for Military Services, Department of Defense, U.S. Military Services, and the Department of Veterans Affairs. It oversees new council/assembly development, membership recruitment, council health, and special programs. It coordinates veterans support and the annual Warriors to Lourdes Pilgrimage in France.
