Upcoming Cor Trainings and Online Events

Cor is an important initiative that is designed to meet the needs of Catholic men. Through prayer, formation and fraternity, Cor seeks to help men become better husbands, fathers, brothers and friends. To help your council better run Cor this fraternal year, there are two important training opportunities. First, there is a live streamed training scheduled to take place from August 24th to 27th. Links will be available soon on the Cor Webinars and Online Events page. Secondly, a virtual Cor webinar is set to be hosted on September 7th; you can register for that here. For more information on Cor, please visit the newly launched Cor website at www.Kofc.org/Cor.

Update - RSVP / FFF / ASAP Application Processing

Due to the high volume of submissions at the end of the fraternal year, RSVP, FFF, and ASAP applications may take 2-3 months for processing. Thank you for your patience. Please consider submitting your 2023-2024 applications early to ensure prompt processing.

Take Our Mini Survey - Family Prayer Night

Creating a strong prayer life within our families is a necessity. Family Prayer Night is a program that can help in creating a strong foundation in prayer. Please complete this survey to help us gauge the health of the program. It will take less than a minute.

Please complete the Family Prayer Night survey even if you haven’t done the program. Your reasons for not participating are just as valuable as responses from those participating.

District Deputy Corner

  • If any of the councils in your district are “inactive” or “dormant” please work with your state officers on a corrective action plan. If you need assistance with council mergers and reactivations, we're here to help. Email councilreactivation@kofc.org.
  • Ensure your councils submit the Semi-Annual Council Audit (#1295) which was due August 15. These audits are necessary to maintain the bonding on council treasurers and financial secretaries. Share this short tutorial on how to successfully complete and submit this form.
  • Submit the Annual Report on Council Status (#944) for each council in your district. The due date is September 15, so it is imperative that DDs meet with their councils over the summer. The new online form is a simple yes/no twenty two question survey style report that can be completed on your phone.
  • The Installation of Council Officers should be completed as soon as practical and as close as possible to the start of the new fraternal year.

Council Officer Corner

Grand Knight

  • Submit the Semiannual Council Audit (#1295) which was due August 15.
  • All fraternal webinars are available on-demand. The slides and resources are available for download. These presentations provide valuable information every fraternal leader should know.
  • Start planning fall Church Drives and Fraternal Benefit Seminars. Share the Faith in Action Guidebook with your Pastor and let him know that your council wants to support his efforts to build up the parish Church and community.
  • Check the Safe Environment compliance of your council on the reports tab of Officers’ Online. Take the necessary steps now to bring your council into compliance. If you have any Safe Environment related questions, contact youthleader@kofc.org.
