March Webinar: Clear Talk About Leadership Roles

Be courageous and step up to a leadership position in your council! Join us on Thursday, March 21st at 8:00 PM EST, for an informative fraternal webinar entitled Clear Talk About Leadership Roles. At the very least, insist on attendance by those who will be, or could be, future leaders.

Learn what is involved, what to expect, and how you will be supported. Hear from successful leaders who stepped into the breach and had wonderful, life changing experiences. Similar experiences are waiting for you. And remember, if you can't join us live, it will be available on-demand afterwards. Be sure to sign-up to ensure you get the link for this important webinar. Important Reminders for Fraternal Leaders

District Deputy

  • Conduct a quarterly district meeting to ensure your councils close the fraternal year strong. Review Star Council progress, council election procedures, and share best practices.
  • Coordinate a district Fraternal Benefit Seminar (virtual or in person) so every council has the opportunity to earn the Founder’s Award.
  • The Semiannual Council Audit Report (#1295) was due February 15. Please ensure all your councils have submitted this form. It is required to maintain the bonding on council financial secretaries and treasurers.

Grand Knight

  • Acknowledge the hard work and perseverance of the brothers in your council by completing the State Council Service Program Awards Entry Form (#STSP) and submitting it to your state council for award consideration.
  • Plan activities for the Spring season. Programs are great opportunities to invite men of the parish to join your council.
  • Elect the delegates that will represent your council at your State Convention. Consult the Leadership Resources book for more information.

Financial Secretary

  • The Semiannual Council Audit Report (#1295) was due February 15. If you have not already done so, please submit this form.
  • Council Payments Due - The Per Capita, Catholic Advertising and Culture of Life levies are due to the Supreme Council before April 10. Failure to pay will result in suspension of the council. A suspended council may not be seated at their state convention, nor are its members eligible to be delegates to the Supreme Council Meeting and Convention. Your council assessment bill can be found in Officers Online on the “Reports” tab.

Fourth Degree

  • Quarterly District Master training will continue on Monday April 22, 2024 at 8:00 PM EST. We will discuss end of Fraternal Year planning (award applications, making sure forms are submitted, preparing for the next Fraternal Year) and our continued build up to the 4th Degree's 125th Anniversary in February of 2025. Please call or email me with any questions: Michael J. Porter, 4th Degree Director of Training: MJPKNIGHT9282@AOL.COM
