Are you feeling Fraught & Flummoxed?

Have you been trying to engage your congregation in conversations on anti-racism? Do you feel like you aren't able to do as much as you would like or are not capable of saying what really needs to be said? Maybe you feel like the conversations you do have ultimately lead nowhere? These are exactly the kinds of situations that can leave church leaders feeling fraught & flummoxed.

That's why Montreat would like to help! Later this month we are hosting Fraught & Flummoxed, a special conference to offer support and guidance for leaders who are trying to guide their congregations through addressing racism and prejudice in their communities. If you are looking for this kind of support, then join us January 30–February 2, 2023, as we engage mind, body, and spirit in practices designed to aid this important work in the church.

Find support for becoming a Matthew 25 congregation

With a focus on dismantling structural racism, Matthew 25 urges churches to address topics of prejudice, privilege, and white supremacy within their communities. During this two-day experience, pastors and lay leaders alike will find support, receive guidance, and develop a plan for addressing these topics and issues within the church.

Take time to learn, renew, and recharge

Join us as we engage both mind and body in anti-racism. This conference will include Cohort Tracks, where participants will have the opportunity to discuss and share their stories, and Practice Labs, where we will engage in physical practices like baking, hiking, or liturgical arts. Our hope is to offer space for learning and renewal so that you can continue to navigate these conversations once you return home.
