has been the driving force behind the North West District Female Program, previously supporting the female program in Burns Lake. She brings energy and enthusiasm to whatever she is working on. This season, thanks to her amazing work, the District had two (2) female rep teams and had several divisions from Novice to Bantam participate in all female tournaments as North West District teams.
's passion and love for the game and the kids shows when he is at the rink. He genuinely wants the kids to succeed and do well. He wants them to learn how to play as a team and to play correctly from the start of their time in hockey. As a Novice coach, Croft is patient, fair, positive and energetic with the kids during practices and games which boosts the boy's energy levels and the parents enjoy watching the interactions.
has been coaching with Kimberley Minor Hockey Association (MHA) for eight (8) years and is an exceptional head coach that runs practices and teaches skills to all levels of players. He is also an assistant coach for the Junior B Kimberley Dynamiters and is an integral part of the local education system as a high school teacher, specializing in French. Jeff has also been a baseball coach for many years with the local Association.
started last season as a goalie coach with Whistler MHA. He recognized some growing interest in female hockey, so he offered a Girls Spring Development Camp. It was so successful that 13 new female players joined the Association and were able to form an all-girls Atom team for the first time. Jeremy coaches the Atom female team and is the Association's development manager. He encourages his team to give back to the community, which they did this past season volunteering at two (2) Ironman competitions and did a 'Fill the Net' food drive.
has volunteered with the BC Hockey League (BCHL) Victoria Grizzlies and the Juan de Fuca MHA. She always accepts positions above her normal team manager positions and continues to volunteer her time as office manager with the Grizzlies. Sheryl goes above and beyond to ensure players, managers, coaches and families are informed, prepared and, most importantly, can enjoy themselves during the hockey season. Her volunteers hours don't stop when the season ends, as she is already preparing for the next season with both Juan de Fuca and the Grizzlies.
