Dear Resident and/or Family Member, 

Visitation guidelines are changed effective August 9, 2021:

1. Visitation is available by appointment only. Please call Fredonia Place of Williamsville at 716-632-2155 to schedule an appointment. 

2. We offer appointments ranging from 9:30 AM to 7:00 PM. All visitation ends at 8:00 p.m.

3. Visitation is available in the Community Room (see specified areas for seating), the Residents apartment, or outside the building. On weekends visitation is limited to the Community Room and outdoors.

4. Visits are permitted for 60 minutes and are limited to (2) two visitors at a time to enable other Residents the opportunity to see friends and loved ones as well.

5. Standing appointments are unfortunately not permitted. This also allows other Residents to have the opportunity to have visitors as well.

6. Upon arrival, Visitors are screened for signs and symptoms of COVID-19 prior to resident access and will be refused access if they exhibit any symptoms or do not pass the screening questions. 

7. Visitors must wear a face covering at all times. Fredonia Place will provide a facemask if the visitor shows up lacking a face covering. 

8. Visitors must maintain social distance from the Resident at all times. 

9. Visitors must wash or sanitize hands prior to visitation with Resident. 

10. Visitors will be escorted by Fredonia Place staff and must go directly to the intended Resident’s room or designated visitation area. 

11. Visitors under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 years or older and must wear facemasks. All children older than 3 years of age are required to wear masks.

12. Weather permitting, visitation may occur outside while continuing to follow the procedures list herein in the designated area. 

13. Visitors and Residents may not eat or drink indoors during visits.

14. Visitors may not leave the visitation area to go anywhere else in the facility. 

15. Please continue to follow these guidelines in order for us to continue visitation for all.

This guidance does not apply to routine leave for medical visits, errands, or other essential activities. Thank you!
