Onboarding new staff for the summer? Interested in free, high-quality, Revelstoke-specific training for your team? The Chamber is thrilled to announce the new Revelstoke Summer Ambassador Program available today for you and your team! The Revelstoke Ambassador Program is a free training opportunity available to everyone. The program consists of two courses: Revelstoke Knowledge and Customer Service Excellence, delivered via our online learning platform. The full program takes 2 hours to complete and is available on demand at your pace. In the Revelstoke Knowledge course, participants will join local comedian Katie Burrell on a tour of Revelstoke, covering topics such as Revelstoke’s history, key attractions, our National Parks, transportation and more. While the course is designed for those working in businesses that service visitors, there's plenty here for everyone who wishes to learn more about Revelstoke. The Customer Service Excellence course provides six key pillars for delivering outstanding service and includes engaging stories and different perspectives from local businesses in our tourism sector.

PROGRAM BENEFITS. The Ambassador Benefits Card is available to participants working in a tourism frontline role for a Chamber member business upon completion of the program. Benefits include discount vouchers for a bike park day ticket at RMR as well as discounted entry and products at participating businesses. Eligible participants must submit a proof of employment form along with their two course completion certificates to ambassador@revelstokechamber.com to access the benefits card.
