Due to the current COVID conditions, the CLIA Board of Directors has made the difficult decision to postpone the California Lodging Expo® and Conference on February 7, 2022, until the spring of 2022. Our goal as always is to provide the most successful lodging trade show possible. We believe that the industry would be better served if we waited until a time when factors would favor a successful event.

Comprehensive FAQs for Employers on the OSHA Vaccine Emergency Temporary Standard (ETS)

Employers are sure to have questions about the mandate-or-test workplace vaccine emergency rule released by federal workplace safety officials in early November, especially now that the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals has revived the rule – and we have the answers. The Emergency Temporary Standard (ETS) developed by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) will require all covered employers with 100 or more employees to either mandate their workforce receive the vaccination against COVID-19 or test them weekly to ensure they are not infected. And now that we have a January 10 compliance deadline, employers will need to prepare now.
