Join Academic Dean of North Park University Charles Peterson and author Linda Åkeson McGurk as they explore some of the factors driving growth and innovation in the north, and how the nature-centric culture of the Nordics can be valuable in the business world.

Linda Åkeson McGurk is a Swedish American journalist, blogger and author of the parenting memoir "There’s No Such Thing As Bad Weather: A Scandinavian Mom’s Secrets for Raising Healthy, Resilient, and Confident Kids (from Friluftsliv to Hygge)" which was published in 2017 to critical acclaim. You can read more about Linda here .
Charles Peterson is the Academic Dean of North Park University in Chicago. Charles often represents North Park to various Scandinavian organizations including the Swedish American Chamber of Commerce, the Swedish Council of America, and the Swedish American Historical Society.
