About the Webinar

Developed by: Arcora Foundation & The Washington State Health Care Authority

Oral health is integral to overall health. For many adults in Washington, good oral health is an ongoing challenge. This is especially true for many Apple Health (Medicaid) clients. In 2020, only 20% of eligible Apple Health-insured adults had a dental visit. That meant some without access to a dental provider had to seek care at emergency departments.

Private practice providers cited low reimbursement rates as the number one reason why they are unable to accept Apple Health (Medicaid) clients. But change is here!

Attend this webinar and learn about:
  • Significant increases to adult dental Apple Health (Medicaid) reimbursement rates.
  • The care gaps in Washington and how a community-based referral program called DentistLink is helping close the gaps.
  • How providers make Apple Health work in their practice to increase access and improve care and patient health.
  • How working together can create a healthier Washington.
