Robert Lara, David Lutz, Connie Flores and the Paralegal Division invite you to a networking event and CLE with Dona Ana County District Court judges and the El Paso County District Court judges! Robert, David and Connie represent the State Bar of New Mexico's Board of Bar Commissioner Districts for the Third and Sixth Judicial Districts and El Paso members.
Our presentation entitled “Dueling Bars - Perspectives from the Bench of El Paso and Dona Aña Counties” is designed to allow practitioners from Texas and New Mexico to discuss, deliberate and debate the various court procedures and practices that are unique to our borderland. Judges from El Paso and Las Cruces will discuss what they would like to see in their courts from attorneys, what they wish not to see and how attorneys can improve their practices representing clients in our dual jurisdictions.
A brief happy hour will be hosted with free appetizers from 5:30 - 6 p.m., with the CLE presentation immediately following. One drink ticket will be provided per attendee.
