Learn to Use Telehealth to Provide SUD Treatment and Recovery Services
You are invited to take a complimentary self-paced course in Telehealth and Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Treatment and Recovery Services. Earn 2.0 CEU or CME* credits by completing the SUPPORT for ME Tele-SUD Training Toolkit, designed by the Northeast Telehealth Resource Center (NETRC), in partnership with Maine DHHS and SUD Treatment and Recovery Services subject matter experts.

This course was developed for a wide variety of Maine providers who will be utilizing telehealth to provide Substance Use Disorder (SUD) and Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) services to their patients and clients. The topics covered in this training toolkit include:

This training toolkit is structured as a self-paced viewing of multiple mediums including didactic presentations, interactive material and mixed resources embedded throughout. The estimated time to complete the toolkit is 2 hours.

The Maine Medical Education Trust designates this Enduring activity for a maximum of 2 AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)TM. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the accreditation requirements and policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint providership of the Maine Medical Education Trust and Medical Care Development. In late 2019, the Maine Department of Health and Human Services received federal funding to implement “SUPPORT for ME,” a new program to assess and build SUD treatment and recovery capacity in Maine. The SUPPORT for ME initiative will help enhance Maine’s response to the opioid crisis by increasing access to vital services for SUD .
