19th Annual Ladies' Soirée
Thursday, October 4 from 7 to 10pm
Save the date of October 4th and join us for Wilton Library's signature event for local women, celebrating its 19th successful year. And we have added an extra hour this year! This year's theme is Books, Bubbles and Bling. Catch up with old friends and make new ones. Enjoy wonderful food catered by Marly's Bar & Bistro, fantastic silent auction items, along with fun opportunities to further support the Library. Our committee is hard at work creating another special evening for you. Proceeds will benefit Wilton Library, allowing us to continue to offer and develop the programs and services that our patrons have come to expect. Jazz Idiom and Modern Musicals Concert
This Thursday, August 2 @7pm
Join us for a musical treat with two talented performers -- Will Comer on the piano and vocalist, Caitlin Witty. Will is an accordionist and pianist studying jazz piano performance at Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University. He has performed in a variety of settings such as a cocktail hour pianist, ballet accompanist, classical accompanist, improv comedy accompanist, pop-punk band synth player and street musician. Caitlin Witty, a national YoungArts finalist, will be a senior at Webster University's Conservatory for Theatre Arts. In addition to performing, Caitlin has spent her last two summers teaching and directing at the Wiremill Academy in Georgetown. More info & register
Harry Potter Camp Fundraiser
Tuesday, August 28 from 9am to 3pm
Give your kids a magical day of summer fun at Hogwarts! Join in the wizardry at the Children's Library fundraiser commemorating 21 years of Harry Potter. This program is for children in grades 3-5. Children will be sorted into the four houses of Hogwarts and attend a variety of magical classes and fun activities. They will search for magical artifacts guarded by fearsome creatures; learn about the Science of Divinations from Professor Trelawney, and much more. There will also be a visit with the Head Dragon Wrangler from House Slytherin!  Lunch donated by Wilton's own Pinocchio Pizza.
