March 5: Free Documentary Screening
Followed by Community Discussion on Global Warming
I 'm pleased to be a speaker at an important community discussion on global warming Saturday, March 5 at the Rialto Cinema El Cerrito.

This free event includes a screening of This Changes Everything,
a thought-provoking documentary featuring seven global communities where activists are fighting climate change,  based on journalist  Naomi Klein's international non-fiction bestseller.

As a member of the California Air Resources Board and the Bay Area Air Quality Management District Board, I'm working on policies to address climate change and reduce greenhouse gas emissions. After the screening, there will be a discussion on state and local efforts to fight climate change, including California's landmark legislation AB32.
I hope to see you there.
