Let’s Write Our Way Forward—Together

Hi Phenomenal Women!

Okay, where did April go? My birthday was at the beginning of the month—which by daughters made fabulous (how lucky am I???!!!). This pic is my granddaughter enjoying the spa day gift with me!

So here we are in May already and I have some inspiring, fun, and exciting things for you this month. I also want to offer a gentle nudge—a reminder that it's never too late to pause, reflect, and reconnect with what matters most: you.

Whether you're navigating change, craving clarity, or simply longing for a moment of peace, I've filled this month with offerings to support your journey.

Inside this newsletter you’ll find info and links about a brand new blog post, thoughtful journaling prompts, free downloadable gifts, and invitations to join me for two upcoming live workshops. All of this is designed to help you write your way to cool self-exploration, personal growth, authentic living, and clarity.

Let’s keep walking this path of self-love and self-discovery together—one page, one breath, one moment at a time.

With warmth and INKcouragement,

Jill 💚

‼️You Don’t Need to Be a Writer to Journal (Seriously.)

Ever felt like journaling just isn’t “your thing” because you’re not a writer? You’re not alone—and you’re not wrong, either.

But what if journaling isn’t about writing at all? What if it’s about listening—to your thoughts, your feelings, your truth?

This eye-opening post breaks down the myth that journaling has to be polished, poetic, or perfect—and shows you how it can be one of the most healing, liberating things you do for yourself.

5 Tips to Make Journaling Easy and Fast ... Especially for busy women who want the benefits without the overwhelm:

1. Use a one-line prompt.

Start with a super simple sentence like:

“Today I noticed…” or “Right now I feel…”

No overthinking—just write what comes next.

2. Set a timer for 2–5 minutes.

Short bursts work wonders. When the time’s up, stop. You’ll be surprised how much can shift in just a few focused minutes.

3. Ditch full sentences.

Try bullet points, fragments, or even single words. Think:

·        Grateful for sunshine

·        Need sleep

·        Don’t forget: reschedule dentist

4. Keep your journal in reach.

Bedside table, purse, desk drawer—if it’s close by, you’re more likely to use it in spare moments.

5. Start with a list.

Make a list of anything:

  • Things on your mind
  • What you need to let go of
  • What made you smile today
  • List = instant clarity.
