Dear Springfield Public Schools community:

We are looking forward to once again providing breakfast and lunch, including weekends, for children ages 18 & younger during the summer. Instructions to sign up for free meal services are below and vary based on whether the eligible child is attending Explore in-person, is participating virtually or not attending Explore at all.

Select the option below based on your child's status this summer and click on the corresponding grab and go meal interest form button.

Option 1 - My child is enrolled for in-person Explore classes.

Students who are attending Explore in-person this summer will automatically receive breakfast and lunch Monday through Friday at school when Explore is in session. If you would like your in-person Explore student to bring home breakfast and lunch for Saturday and Sunday, sign up by June 4.

Saturday and Sunday meals will be sent home with the in-person students each Friday while Explore is in session.

Option 2 - My child is enrolled in virtual Explore classes or is 18 years old or younger and not enrolled in Explore this summer.

For virtual Explore students and anyone 18 years old and younger who is not attending Explore this summer, breakfast and lunch meals can be picked up at designated sites on the dates/times listed below. Sign up by June 4, to receive meals on the first pick-up day. Registered individuals will receive breakfast and lunch meals for the number of days indicated below on designated pick-up days.

Pick-up days:

Tuesday, June 8 (meals for 6 days)

Monday, June 14 (meals for 7 days)

Monday, June 21 (meals for 7 days)

Monday, June 28 (meals for 3 days)

Thursday, July 8 (meals for 4 days)

Monday, July 12 (meals for 7 days)

Monday, July 19 (meals for 7 days)

Monday July 26 (meals for 7 days)

Pick-up times:

9–10:15 a.m. or 1-2 p.m.

When you arrive for pick up, please call the phone number listed below for the site’s cafeteria, and someone will bring the order out to you.
