Boise School District to Provide Free Grab-And-Go Meal Services
Boise, ID -- 09/16/2021 -- Boise School District will begin free Grab-And-Go meal services on Monday, September 20, 2021 at Trail Wind Elementary School for any child who does NOT have access to the National School Lunch Program or who attends Boise Online School.

Lunch and breakfast will be available for pick up Monday through Friday with an advanced order only.

To place an order:
  • Email your child’s full name and the school they attend to [email protected].
  • Order deadline is 9:00 a.m. on the day of meal pick up.  
  • Pick up time is 10:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m., Monday through Friday. 
  • Pick up meals at Trail Wind Elementary School (3701 E. Lake Forest Drive, Boise) in the bus loop. Look for the door marked “KITCHEN” on the back of the main school building. Ring the kitchen door bell when you have arrived to pick up your meal.  

This meal service is available only to children who do NOT have access to meals in school through the National School Lunch Program.

Meals are not available for purchase. Children ages 1-18 are allowed one free breakfast and one free lunch per day. Children do not need to be present; meals may be picked up by a parent or guardian if the child is not present. Breakfast and lunch will be served in one sack. Meals will be served in a drive-through manner and are not to be eaten on site.
