As part of PPCF’s commitment to a thriving, resilient, and sustainable Pikes Peak Region, we are offering two free online grant writing workshops for nonprofit leaders.

These free, interactive sessions are designed to support a healthy, effective nonprofit community by building practical skills that can strengthen grant applications and improve funding outcomes.

Participants will hear from PPCF staff and local funding partners who review and support grant proposals across the region. We will also share updates on PPCF’s 2026 annual discretionary grantmaking process.

Session 1: Developing a Successful Proposal

Monday, May 4 | 1–2 p.m.

This workshop focuses on the core elements of a strong grant proposal, from clearly defining need to aligning your work with funder priorities. PPCF and local funding leaders will share practical guidance on what makes a proposal stand out and common pitfalls to avoid.

You will leave with actionable insights your organization can apply to current and future grant applications.

Session 2: Financial Reporting That Can Move the Needle

Tuesday, May 12 | 1–2 p.m.

Clear, credible financial information can strengthen your proposal and build funder confidence. This session will explore how to present budgets and financial narratives in ways that are transparent, compelling, and aligned with your program goals.

Funding experts will discuss what reviewers look for and how financial reporting can support your overall case for investment.
