Library Homework Center Opens Monday

The Burlingame Public Library Homework Center will open on Monday, January 14. The Homework Center is a free, drop-in homework help program where students in grades 1-6 will receive homework assistance and mentoring from dedicated teen volunteers. Previously called "Homework Buddies", this program is a way to help grow students' academic confidence, while developing their social and time-management skills.

The Center will be open Monday through Thursday, from 3:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m., in the Tech Lab at the Burlingame Main Library. Students may attend the Center up to two days per week. The Center will be supervised by a Parks & Recreation staff member during all open hours. Parents bringing their child for the first time will be asked to sign a permission form and Homework Center agreement. Click here for more information.
