La`au Kahea is an ancient Hawaiian Healing modality to assist the mind and body to become balanced (Lokahi). The belief is that any memory unresolved within you, needs to release the trauma around the memory. If not released, the negative emotions will manifest into a physical form, eventually. Obviously not good. During your session we will assist you in releasing emotional blocks from your past.

The first thing we would do is give you an understanding of "How the mind works." How you created these emotional blocks, how they are affecting you and why you should release/let them go. It is from an indigenous perspective but makes psychological sense. We refer to it as the Foundation Talk:
* You would then identify (to yourself some) events/memories from your past that you can still feel the negative emotions. Memories like events of (Anger, Sadness, Fear/Phobias) Also, limiting beliefs. (Fear of Failure, Rejection, Abandonment) As well as "Your perceived" problem/problems. This is so that you have something to check on after we are done.
* The good thing is we do not need to know what they are. That's right. You do not have to tell us. In fact, we prefer it that way.
We will then, assist you in clearing/releasing all trauma/negative emotions from your past memories bringing the mind, body and spirit into Lokahi. (Balance).
You can then check all your memories to ensure you released the trauma. Even the ones that you could not think of before the start of the session.
In addition, during the session, we will teach you cultural practices that puts you in the optimum state for living
* How to change from a negative state to a positive state
* How to be in control of your thoughts and emotions
* How to resolve future internal conflicts (and more)
